A dissertation is not one task, and treating it as one is why candidates open the file, read what they wrote in March, and close it again. Broken into stages it becomes ordinary work: a problem statement that survives questioning, a review that argues rather than lists, a method someone could repeat, and findings reported without editorializing.
You choose how much is drafted for you and how much is coached out of you, and that can change from chapter to chapter. Some want the literature review carried and the analysis taught. What does not change is that one specialist stays with you throughout, so nothing gets explained twice.

Chapter three is where most people actually stop.
The methodology chapter is where a study stops being an idea and has to become a set of decisions: this design, this sample, this instrument, this analysis, each one justified and each one closing off alternatives. It is also where a committee reads hardest, because everything after it depends on the choices made here.
Candidates stall here for an honest reason. Committing to a method means admitting the study will be smaller than the one in your head. Statistical work goes to a doctoral statistician, not to a writer with a software license. Assumptions are checked before a test and reported after it, output comes from the software your program expects, and tables arrive in your style manual's format rather than pasted raw.
Then it is explained to you in plain language, which is what matters on defense day. You will be asked why this test and not another, and what happens to your conclusion if an assumption is shaky. Being handed results you cannot discuss is worse than having none.

A defense is a conversation you can prepare for, and almost every hard question is predictable from your own document. The weak spot in your sampling, the study you did not cite, the claim reaching further than the evidence: your committee will find these, so a stranger should find them first.
The rehearsal is deliberately harder than the real thing. You get the questions, the follow-ups and a plain assessment of which answers are not yet convincing, with time left to fix them. Committee feedback is treated the same way, as instructions rather than opinions.

Can I get help with only one chapter?
Yes. Plenty of candidates arrive with three chapters approved and a methodology that will not settle, or with data collected and no idea how to write it up. The work is quoted by stage, so you can take a single chapter, the analysis alone, or the defense preparation on its own, and stop whenever you have what you needed.
Will you write the dissertation itself?
That depends on what you ask for, and the honest answer is that the setting is yours to choose and can change by chapter. Some want drafting; others want editing, structure and somebody asking the right questions each week. What we will not do is hand you findings you cannot discuss, because a defense exposes that immediately.
Who does the statistics?
A doctoral statistician, working in the software your program expects. Assumptions are checked before the analysis and reported after it, tables are produced in your style manual's format, and the results are then explained to you in plain language so you can answer questions about them. Qualitative coding goes to researchers who work qualitatively.
How long does this usually take?
It depends on your stage, your committee's turnaround and whether review board approval is still ahead of you.
