What Edlaurel is.
Edlaurel is an independent academic coaching service for online-degree students: tutoring, coaching, editorial support, exam preparation, research and IRB consulting, practicum and internship placement assistance, and week-by-week coursework support, delivered by credentialed specialists.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university named on this site. School names appear only to describe what our faculty know. How you use our coaching inside your program's rules remains your responsibility.
Applications and quotes.
Every engagement starts with a free quote setting out the scope, the timeline and the price. Nothing is owed until you accept it. Work begins once the quote is accepted and the agreed payment or deposit clears. Anything not written into the quote is not part of the engagement.
Deadlines and delivery.
The delivery date on an accepted quote is a commitment. If anything puts it at risk you hear from us early rather than at the deadline. Where a deliverable arrives late for reasons on our side and no rescue is agreed, the affected portion of the fee is refunded.
Revisions and refunds.
Written work carries a free revision within seven days of delivery, against the original scope. Refunds beyond the late-delivery case are settled engagement by engagement: write to dean@edlaurel.com describing what went wrong and a department chair, not a form letter, reads it.
Confidentiality.
Your identity, your school and the contents of your engagement stay confidential. Specialists work under standing non-disclosure agreements. Published reviews use initials and a program only. We have never written to a student's university or employer about them and do not intend to.
The affiliate program.
The program is open to verified Edlaurel alumni. Commissions accrue on completed, paid referred engagements and pay out monthly; fraudulent, self-referred or charged-back engagements do not accrue. Credit taken instead of cash carries the stated bonus and has no cash value. An account that misrepresents the service may be closed, and commissions already earned on legitimate work are still paid.
The necessary formalities.
The service is provided as described in each accepted quote, and our liability on any engagement is capped at what you paid for that engagement. These terms together with your accepted quote form the whole agreement. If these terms change, the version standing when you accepted your quote governs it.
